As long as each site is viewed in isolation, you can’t see the connections. No benchmarking, no outliers, no consolidated view - and for ESG reporting, the data collection starts from scratch every time.
This is exactly where we’re working on the next stage of enmacs:FLEX: a cross-site view that makes the energy flows of all sites transparent in one central place. That turns “every site does its own thing” into a portfolio you can actually manage.
Our architectural principle still holds here: a central view doesn’t mean central data storage in someone else’s cloud. The data stays with the customer. What comes together is the overview - not control over your data.
And that’s just the beginning. Because once sites are connected, the next step becomes conceivable: that they start working together - with joint peak shaving, company-internal energy sharing, pooled flexibility.
