The Potential In Between

ASCII graphic: several sites whose energy flows converge in a shared enmacs:FLEX view.

Most companies optimise their energy site by site. A huge, unused potential gets overlooked in the process.

Anyone responsible for several plants, branches or sites knows the feeling: every site is an island. Its own equipment, its own EMS (or none at all), its own logic. As long as each site is viewed in isolation, you can’t see the connections. No benchmarking, no outliers, no consolidated view - and for ESG reporting, the data collection starts from scratch every time.

This is exactly where we’re working on the next stage of enmacs:FLEX: a cross-site view that makes the energy flows of all sites transparent in one central place. That turns “every site does its own thing” into a portfolio you can actually manage.

Our architectural principle still holds here: a central view doesn’t mean central data storage in someone else’s cloud. The data stays with the customer. What comes together is the overview - not control over your data.

And that’s just the beginning. Because once sites are connected, the next step becomes conceivable: that they start working together - with joint peak shaving, company-internal energy sharing, pooled flexibility.

We’re looking for pilot partners for this development. If you’re responsible for multiple sites: get in touch. We’d rather build this with the people who need it every day.
