At enmacs we decided against the black-box solution from the very start. Our EMS controls automatically, but never uncontrolled. People stay in the picture at all times – and can intervene at any time.
Concretely: energy flows are visualised transparently. Deviations become visible immediately. And anyone who wants to can override manually – once, or for the rest of the day.
Why does this matter? Because trust in AI systems doesn’t come from promises. It comes from transparency, traceability and the ability to say no.
